This afternoon, he woke me up handing an upo, yes, the vegetable, to me. He kissed and greeted me. Schweeet! OMG! That stands for Oh my GULAY! An upo on Heart's Day?!?!?! I hugged the vegetable tightly and went back to sleep. He left the room and came back to wake me up again. This time he had a bunch of tulips with him. Now, this is what I want. Not that I didn't want an upo, but hey, flowers would be better, right? I stood up, kissed, and greeted him. Now, I feel so guilty not having to giving him something. I wanted to buy him a jansport bag that he could use when he goes to his culinary class, but couldn't find one that I believe he would like. I planned for us to go out on a date tonight but he had something important to do, and I have to go to work. The weekend can wait. Yes, it can wait.

Happy Heart's Day!
Valentine's happens to be a memorable day for me as 6 years ago, the marriage proposal happened. As I type away, the song Reminiscing by The Little River Band is playing in the background. What a coincidence! I can't help but reminisce how it all happened. It would be bit boring if I tell the whole story. But just so to make the story short - we met up in a coffee shop after work, had dinner with my parents and brother, brought them home, and went to another coffee shop again. Then it all happened. As far as I could remember, I didn't say "Yes". I was speechless and in tears. Alligator tears, actually. The end. Haha!
Lovingly yours, The Wifey's Journal
