Dance class or Yoga?
Before heading to lalaland the other night, signing up for a belly dancing class or a yoga class came across my mind. This happened because I was just reading a magazine article which talks about being fit and fab just by attending these classes. Joining a belly dancing class would mean FUN, FUN, FUN. I love to dance and I think that I will really enjoy it. But I find yoga interesting too. Much more on how to become a yoga instructor. Haha. That's very, very far off. I have to attend a class first before I become one. And it's gonna be a looong, loooong, journey. If time permits, I will have to inquire at the gym nearby and see how much it would cost me to sign up. But first, let me do a research on the benefits of each. Help me decide, please?

21DPC Day 2 Question: Who is One Friend You Appreciate Having? And Why?
It has been said that friends add meaning to our lives. They bring joy, and share in your sadness. One friend I appreciate having and knowing in my lifetime is my colleague, Noel. He's strict, but funny. Straight but not brutally frank. Confident, but not conceited. Shy, erase that word. Haha! He's one person you can count on and trust. He has never a been a bad influence to me. He listens to me, I listen to him. But still we respect that space needed in between. Plain and simple.
* i'm still waiting for his reply on whether he'd allow me to post his pic or not. lol!

Hmmm.. i was able to control myself from questioning someone about something that I know would only hurt her/him. Less talk, less mistakes.

21DPC Day 1 – On a Scale of 1-10, How Happy Are You? And Why?
I am participating in a 21-day challenge which is geared towards being positive and staying positive at all times. Thank heavens I stumbled upon http://personalexcellence.co while searching for affirmations online. Here's the question for DAY 1:
On a Scale of 1-10, How Happy Are You? And Why?
I'd give it a 7 rating. Quite low, you say? That would be an honest reply. This is a rate I'd give in general. If given the chance to break it down into different aspects then I would give a lot of numbers then. Life has its ups and downs. I am happy with what I have become, who I am now, who I am with, and what I have decided to do. I am happy with the way things turned out the way I planned it. I am happy and content with the work I have. I am happy to see people around me happy. I am happy because I just am. I have to admit that problems arise here and there. But still I am happy to overcome it. I'd be happier and maybe even give a rate of 9 or 10 if I find out that I'm pregnant. My husband and I would probably be the happiest married couple then. I hope that it happens soon. When it does, I'm going back to this post and update it. Sprinkle that baby dust on me, please?
Why Did You Not Give Yourself a 10/10?
I just don't feel that I deserve to give myself a perfect 10.

I was able to get a full 8-hr sleep. That to me is precious.
Hello, Summer!
Summer for me starts today, the very first day of March. Can you feel the summer breeze? Or is that heat and humidity in the atmosphere? Yesterday morning, as I was having my breakfast al fresco, I enjoyed the cool summer breeze. That was at around 7am. After an hour or two, I felt sticky all over, perspiring and wanting to have a cold glass of water by my side. Arrgh!
When I was still in grade school all the way up to high school, my brother and I enjoyed waking up early on a summer day. Yes. We wake up early during the summer vacation, and get up late for school. How ironic! Both of us would be giddy with excitement knowing that we could just play, eat, sleep, watch tv, and do whatever we want to do the whole day. Well 1 hour of that would be dedicated to my piano lessons, and him, his guitar or basketball lessons.
So, the summer season in the Philippines has officially started. Beach, tan, vacation, bbq's, walks in the park, frisbee weekends, here we come!
Repost: 10 Things to Remind Yourself on a Daily Basis
How I love positive affirmations. Don't you? Just this morning I read something interesting at mindbodygreen.com and I want to share it with you. Read on...
1. Do not lose sight of what truly matters. Does that clogged sink signify the end of the world? Are you going to remember or even care that the stranger you smiled at in the coffee shop didn’t smile back? When we’re having a bad day, we seem to zoom in on petty things and complain about them. Next time you’re pulling your hair out over something, ask yourself if it really matters.Your thoughts?
2. It is okay to be alone or pull back from the world. Sometimes we just need to step back and re-evaluate a situation, a relationship, or just life in general. When I went through my healing period, I spent a lot of time alone as I tried to become my own best friend again. If you need to go into hiding for awhile and work on stitching yourself back up, take the time to do that. It is so important to pull back and spend quality time with yourself every now and then.
3. You are not always in control. You cannot predict when certain things will or should happen, or how everything will turn out. Sometimes you just have to stop pushing and let go.
4. What other people think is irrelevant. I was a miserable slave to the opinions of others. It got to a point where I was trying so hard to please everyone but myself. Don’t let your immediate reaction to criticism be to change whatever it is you’re being criticized for. Do whatever feels right to you, regardless of what other people have to say about it.
5. Don’t give up. If you’re fighting for something that means a lot to you, do not stop fighting whenever you happen to fall short. Remember why you are fighting for it.
6. You don’t have to know all the answers. No one ever has life all figured out. We are always learning and growing. Life itself is a mystery and it’s okay to feel clueless sometimes.
7. You are enough. All of us have had times in our lives where we have thought, “I’m not smart enough or pretty enough or strong enough or exciting enough to do _____.” Give yourself a chance instead of forming limiting beliefs.
8. Stay present. Try not to dwell on the past or worry about the future. Take everything one day at a time.
9. Your feelings will not kill you. I know that heartbreak, grief, depression, or resentment might make you feel like you’re dead and breathing, but you have the strength to get through whatever life throws at you. Hold on and see yourself through it.
10. You are human. This is probably the biggest reminder of them all. You will make mistakes. You will hurt other people and other people will hurt you. You won’t always feel happy and positive. Next time you feel the urge to beat yourself up over any of these things, remind yourself that you are an imperfect human being instead.
